Discussion:
Can anyone analyse my data for me?

Some of you may remember that I was doing a little study of what
astrological factors are involved in OCD. I collected the birth data of 33
OCD sufferers, and sent it all to Ray Murphy, who had offered to analyse it
for me with a special computer program he has and see if any significant
features emerged. In June he sent me what he described as a few preliminary
results, and said he'd do the rest when he had time. I haven't heard from
him since, and he doesn't answer my e-mails. So the data is sitting on my
hard disk un-analysed. I haven't the necessary software to do it myself.

Is there anyone here who could help me out with this? I just need to know
whether there are any features that occur significantly above chance
levels - aspects, planets in signs and anything else you can be bothered
with. Ray Murphy said there is a program designed for this kind of thing,
called Jigsaw. Have any of you got it by any chance?

Many thanks,
A. B.

Old Snacky, here. :)) Yes, I have JigSaw, but have not had anything of
interest to run through it yet. I'll try to find the time to analyze
your data if you like. OCD is very interesting. It seems to go hand in
hand with some of the other behavioral/brain disorders like AD/HD and
Tourette's, etc. Very interesting!

Ray is like that. He once disappeared for over a year and I suggested
that he was probably dead since he was under some heavy transits at
the time. However, he resurrected himself if only to prove my
prediction wrong. LOL

Hello LibraLove:

May we welcome you back ?
Here´s wishing you had a tremendous start into
this New Year, New Decade.
Hope all is well on your end.

BTW:
I hear that Ray had enough of this group, was tired of arguing,
just for the sake of the argument, instead of being asked
questions, if something seemed hard to believe.
And as he was/is being too busy with his new program,
he seemed to have gone to another group. You understand . .
Oh, we also have (a) new monitor(s), one is Kjell. He is
very fair (not just blonde :)

Take care and
be well,
IRH/Silveen
(still in Berlin)

Thanks very much LibraLove. As it happens I wrote the other day to an
astrological research society who were offering to lend their analysis
program to people, asking if I could use it. I'll let you know what
happens.

Well, I've waited, and they haven't replied at all. So please can you do
the analysis for me some time? No hurry. I'll drop you an e-mail.
Many thanks,

Why do you believe astrology is a science? Just curious.

OCD would be Pluto, Scorpio, Virgo, --could also be Fixed or Earth sign
predominance.

Nice to hear from another astrology researcher. I think I'd prefer to have
LibraLove do it, if she/he's willing. That way I know that the results will
be in the kind of astrological terms I understand. But I'll drop you the
data as well if you like, when I have time.
All the best,
A. B.
