For a noon time, his natal Moon would be at 4 ARI 39'.

His ascension to power occurred Sept. 1, 1969, concurring with his
first progressed Lunar Return. His Moon was then at 4 ARI 02'.

As of today (28 Aug. 2011) his progressed Moon is at 4 LIB 17'.

The funny thing is that if you move his birthtime away from noon, the
resulting progressed Moon will be moved by the same distance, keeping
the relative relations between natal and progressed Moon the same.

I would say it seems that his progressed Moon has a marked influence
in his life. Now I'll only have to check whether or not the second
Lunar Return marked a time of particular importance in his career.

We did not have his time of birth, but regarding his time of death, it
seems to be somewhere between 13.30 and 14.00, in Sirte (Libya). I
arrive at this from a variety of news sources.

This one states that he was wounded (dead or not is not clear, but
probably alive) at 13.40 (translated into Libya time):

A BBC source I cannot relocate says that he was captured at 13.30 and
that report of his death arrived at no later than 14.00.

Yet another source (Swedish news) say he died within 30 minutes of
being wounded. It also says his death was in the ambulance.

It seems to me that the time window of 13.30 to 14.00 is the most
likely one for time of death.

Checking the Ascendant for Sirte at this time I see that it moves from
Capricorn 23 degrees unto 30 degrees during this time. I would say it
seems fairly certain his death chart carries a Capricorn Ascendant as
reports of his death arrived before 1400 hrs.

The Sun is at 26 LIBRA 45. The Moon is in the first degree of Leo up
until about ten to two.

I shall not attempt to analyze the chart, especially since it is not
exact. But I would certainly want to know where to start if one wanted
to rectify a death chart!

Lucky for me I did not try to analyze the chart, as it seems I may
have gotten the time wrong. At the website for The Astrological
Association for Great Britain I found a chart that is for an hour
earlier (with the same Ascendant as mine, oddly enough). I assume that
the Brits know about their summer time better than I do and that that
chart is correct. (My chart was based upon BBC and other British
reports of Gaddafis capture and death, thus with their summertime.)

Interesting, I noticed a possible other periodicity that seemed to
have some effect at least this year: Mercury retrograde:
- Start of the revolution in March/April
- Fall of Tripolis in August
- If this works, maybe Gaddafi captured/killed in late November or
during the first half of December?
