According to police in the south of Sweden, there are more crimes
around the Full Moon, and they use this fact in crime prevention.

I have now learnt that this kind of crime prevention is called
"predictive policing". Here is another article, this one referring to
the use of moon phases in predictive policing. I suppose that means
moon phases in general, as opposed to the Full Moon in particular.
