Placidus for Horary

Hi All,

I am need a help for horary software.

In KP horary, a random number will be given and the degree of
ascendant is
derived on the basis of that number. And the other houses needs to be
calculated based on that ascendant. Now I need to calculate placidus
house system for that ascendant and given latitude.

I have already searched in google and result i got is to solve the
ascendant equation. But to solve that equation i need obliquity, RAMC
etc., So, i am not sure how to solve that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid I don't know how you calculate Placidus houses. I've always used
Equal House myself. I can think of one way round this problem: there's a
free chart-drawing program called StarFisher (
http://starfisher.cz/starfisher/EN/ ) which lets you move a chart ahead by
one day, hour or minute at a time. So you could set up the chart for a
random time, then go back and forth until you get to the time with the right
ascendant. It can display the chart in any standard house system.
