Triple Conjunction in December

On December 14 there is going to be a very close conjunction (all on 4
degrees Capricorn) of Mercury, Mars, Pluto, and the Moon's Node. This is in
opposition to my natal Uranus (4 degrees Cancer), square my Sun (1 degree
Libra) and sextile my Moon (3 degrees Scorpio). Is this a warning to beware
of illness and accidents as I've read, or is there more to it than this?
This is a pretty powerful transit by the looks of it.

Dunno where one would necessarily see illness in that one, tho accidents
is pretty obvious for the unwary.

There is some square (or t-square, if you consider the SN a point for
pattern purposes) action going on in that time with Uranus (very loose)
and the Moon - that could reinforce the adverse reactions to that level
of energy going by and result in accidents and disagreements.

For anything else, look to the interaction with the natal chart. The
Capricorn stuff turns my natal t-square to a temporary grand square,
which could be quite a relief if I can balance atop all that buzzing
going on!

The reason why I thought of illness is that Uranus, the focal point of the
opposition, is in my 6th house. With that conjunction being in opposition to
my Uranus, I figure that if anything happens, it might come from outside or
from someone else. So I'd better be careful and watch out for road crazies
and other lunatics until the new year.

Oh, I just happened to notice that Mercury is retrograde at that time, too.
Maybe I'd better just stay home and hide! :o)

This is a pretty powerful transit by the looks of it.
It is also more powerful than it looks like. I have in another thread
mentioned the lunar eclipse of the 26th of June, and it happened with
the Moon on precisely that degree in Capricorn, in partile conjunction
with Pluto. The eclipse’ Sun on your Uranus certainly sees to that
your chart was, and is, involved.

Whatever was initiated in June should come to pass within a year, the
eclipse being lunar. The aspects coming up may activate the eclipse,
if that has not occured by other means yet. If you have any idea of
what the lunar eclipse may have inititiated, you might find a clue how
to interpret the up and coming aspects, and prepare yourself
accordingly.

I do, however, not think you will have to worry about the square from
Pluto to the Sun that much. If Pluto had been revisiting the exact
aspect later on it would have been different, but the square is
history now, even if close history. Last year I think. I mean 2010. At
the most it could activate some relatively fresh wounds, but I would
not expect anything new from it.

The Moon trining natal Uranus and the Sun of the June eclipse,
sextiling the up-and-coming conjunction, I think the Moon’s role in
your natal chart will be heavily accentuated during this time. Its
house position may tell you in what area of your life all the
aspectual tension will seek expression.

So it isn't actually going to effect my Uranus or sixth house all that much?
My Moon is in the ninth house. Interestingly, in June I was attempting to
find an agent for a book I've written--still am. Since the ninth house does
have to do with publishing, perhaps I can hope that my book will be with a
publisher, or at least an agent, by this coming June?

As for my Sun's house, it depends on which house system used. It's in the
eighth by Placidus and in the ninth by Koch. Which one would be more
accurate?

My Moon is in the ninth house.
Uranus will be a part of things, but the ”outlet” wont be with it in
the sixth house. It will be very much in focus, being most closely
aspected body in the chart, but the trine to the Moon will lead this
tension away into a less tense area.

This can be both for good or for bad. However, without this outlet, as
I call it, the tension would just have remained and probably done more
harm than good, so it still is relatively good. The Moon, here, stands
for where you can find a point of balance between the Uranian longing
inherent in you (or in your servants/colleagues when projected onto
the world) and the external forces represented by the multiple
conjunction. Uranus is challenged in some way by the multiple
conjunction, but the Moon is on a neutral ground where the needs of
both the Uranus and the multiple conjunction can be met.

Uranus will be involved in the sense that it is part of your basic
natal chart, which is being activated by aspects. So everything that
has to do with independence in your work situation, or striving for
independence among people working for you (etc) will be stressed out
by the heavy clunk of oppositions. Without these underlying
oppositions to Uranus, you would have no particular incitament to seek
the solutions the Moon can offer right now. They are the problem that
needs a solution.

If it is you who seek independence in work, this may very well have to
do with you seeking the kind of independence authors have in their
worklife. I dare not make any predictions regarding publishing, but it
is practically certain that you will continue to seek to branch out
into new and previously unknown areas during at least the coming half
a year. Given the circumstances, to do so is a good thing! The ninth
house, in itself a fortunate house (”the house of God”), will welcome
you with open arms.

I am thoroughly Placidean and, on top of that, particularly skeptical
with regards to Koch, so I have only one answer to give you here. In
my experience, even housecusps beyond the major axes are sensitive
points—if you use Placidus—so I have stuck with that system.

Thank you, Kjell. This is very helpful. And I agree with you that all house
cusps are sensitive and I have definitely noted the effects of transits to
them.
