Hi all,

Haven't swung by for a long time - and I'm sure many of you are
grateful for that! ;-)

However, I wanted to get your opinion on something. I'm taking the GRE
test in Oct and have to pick a good date. During that month I will
have Saturn trine Saturn and also Mercury trine Mercury.

Which aspect would you think would be preferable for mental acuity and
concentration?

Thanks so much for your help!

I'm just glad to see anyone posting at all. The group seems to have dried
right up in the last few weeks, for some reason.

I'm afraid I'm not much good at progressions and transits myself. But I
know that you'd generally need more information than that for best results.
Do you mean progressed or transiting?
What sign and house do these planets occupy in your natal chart?
And of course, details of any other progressions and transits that happen at
the same time would be handy. A really flakey Mars transit, for instance,
could more than cancel out one of these transits, however promising they
might look by themselves.

Thanks, A.B.! Saturn rules the 9th and 10th and is posited in the 10th
- squaring everything that isn't nailed down. Mercury is rx in the
2nd. I was talking about transits, yes.

Just noticed I have a day when Mercury is trine Saturn. Mercury rules
my second.

So, the options are SATURN TRINE SATURN, MERCURY TRINE MERCURY AND
MERCURY TRINE SATURN.

Hi Chompie,

When do you get the results?

I would avoid T. Saturn quincunx N. Chiron and N. Jupiter about
October 25th. Earlier is better. You also have Jupiter sextile your
MC, so that is good.

Looks like you sort of get them the same day. I was thinking Oct 9th
at 1PM, for the test.

Computer-based GRE General Test
At the test center, you will be asked to designate your score
recipients. If an institution is not listed, ask the test center
administrator for the appropriate form to indicate unlisted
institutions. Complete the form and turn it in before you leave the
test center. The form will not be accepted after you leave the test
center.

You will view unofficial Verbal and Quantitative scores at the test
center; however, because of the essay scoring process, you will not
view your Analytical Writing score at that time. Test centers cannot
provide printed copies of score reports. Official Verbal, Quantitative
and Analytical Writing scores will be sent to you and the score
recipients you designated within 10 to 15 days after you take the
test. Allow sufficient time for mail delivery from Princeton, New
Jersey, USA. These scores are also available through the Scores by
Phone service and View Scores Online service

Oh! That was a good question - when do you get the results! I'm not
sure. Think it's about 2 wks after you take the test but I will try to
find out.
